Hello! My name is Zoe Shear, and I am the soil slinger in chief here at TerrAviv acres. Before TerrAviv, I was getting my hands dirty in the heart of Downtown Durham, NC, where I gardened on a cozy quarter-acre plot—think intimate dinner party, but with tomatoes as the guests. In 2025, my husband and I decided to up our gardening game and bought our own little slice of Durham County. Now, we’re back at square one, but with even more enthusiasm (and probably too many seed packets) as we pursue self-sufficiency and sustainability on 2.3 acres of paradise.
